Salary: Band E (NJC Scale 5-6) Pro Rata
Hours: 17.5 hours per week
Working weeks: 39 weeks
Days: Monday to Friday – 3.5 hours per day – times to be agreed at interview
Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities
- Work under general instruction and guidance, handling administrative processes and tasks within established procedures while prioritising own workload.
- Produce documents from drafts or amend standard formats on a computer.
- Input/retrieve financial information using initiative where necessary.
- Provide administrative support to the Wraparound service operated by the school.
- Refer complex problems upwards and exercise initiative as required.
- Assist with budgetary responsibilities.
- Contribute to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: GCSE/GCE O‑level/CSE grade 1 in literacy and numeracy.
- Experience with accounting software such as Access or similar.
- Prior experience or formal training in finance or administration.
- Ability to use initiative within recognised procedures, handle unexpected problems, and propose solutions.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding children and respecting their needs.
- Proficient with office equipment and word‑processing software.
- Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and pupils.
