As Faculty Lead for Maths, you will drive an ambitious and engaging curriculum that develops learners’ skills in numerical fluency, reasoning and problem-solving. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring learners receive a high-quality education that prepares them for both academic and vocational success. You will be responsible for strategic curriculum leadership, outcomes, staff development and the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning within the Maths Faculty. You will play a key role in shaping a curriculum that reflects our Catholic ethos, promoting curiosity, resilience and a sense of purpose.

You’ll oversee Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, from guiding Year 7s through their first algebraic expressions to helping Year 11 master their trigonometric ratios. Our curriculum model ensures that every learner is challenged and supported to reach their full potential. You will use assessment, data and evaluation to drive sustained improvement in learner outcomes.
