The Discovery Academy is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join the Facilities Team. The successful candidate will carry out routine general maintenance, maintain high standards of working and possess a good understanding of security issues. Excellent spoken English and the ability to communicate comfortably with staff and students are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine general maintenance tasks across the Academy.
- Support the Facilities Team in maintaining building safety and security.
- Engage with staff, students and visitors, providing assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven industry experience in routine maintenance.
- Strong commitment to high standards of workplace care.
- Good understanding of building security protocols.
- Effective verbal communication in English.
