We are looking to appoint a skilled, nurturing EYFS Learning Support Practitioner to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will be based within the Nursery setting, where high‑quality early learning and positive relationships are prioritised.
Responsibilities
- Share our Christian ethos and school values and demonstrate these consistently in practice.
- Use a secure understanding of the EYFS Framework to support learning.
- Support children with a range of needs, including intimate care when required.
- Facilitate learning through play and provide small‑group and 1:1 support.
- Be calm, patient, caring, nurturing, flexible, proactive and an effective team member.
- Maintain high expectations of yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Hold a relevant EYFS qualification (e.g. Level 3 Early Years or equivalent).
- Have experience working within Early Years with knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
- Experience supporting children with additional and complex needs.

Employment Details
- Hours: 31.25 Hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week.
- Grade: Grade D, SCP 9-17, (£27,254 – £31,022); Actual Salary £20,539 – £23,984 p.a.
- Location: St Martin’s CE Primary School, Lower Church Ln, Tipton DY4 7PG.
- Post commencement: 01st September 2026.
