Responsibilities

  • Supervising children in the lunch hall, playground and other areas during lunchtime.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and sharing our school values.
  • Supporting children to play safely and develop social skills.
  • Assisting younger children with eating and clearing away meals.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming lunchtime environment.

Mandatory Checks

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before final appointment is confirmed. The check will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council is committed to safeguarding service users in our care.
