Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are jointly seeking an Environmental Services Operative – Level 1 to work as part of the Place Team in Bromsgrove. The role involves cleansing the Bromsgrove district area, ensuring public bins are emptied and carrying out a range of public high-street cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Litter picking, graffiti removal, fly tip removal and removal of dead animals
- Pedestrian mowing, blowing, trimming and hedge cutting
- Undertaking Level 1 playground inspections
- Performing basic maintenance of equipment and plant
- Carrying out vehicle, plant and equipment checks
- Using mobile devices to record and manage tasks
