Parkside Middle School is a thriving, vibrant middle (deemed secondary) school for pupils aged 9‑13 in the heart of Bromsgrove. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated English Teacher who is passionate about igniting curiosity and fostering a love for English. In this role you will play a pivotal part in shaping students’ understanding of the world through engaging, high‑quality lessons that bring reading, writing and oracy to life. We believe that English is more than just a subject – it provides the foundational knowledge for life. Enabling pupils to engage with texts, read with confidence and communicate effectively through written and spoken word is central to their learning success.

We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can create a stimulating learning environment and instil a passion. You will help to develop and deliver an innovative and progressive curriculum, supported by a programme of extracurricular and enrichment activities, that ensures all students – regardless of background or ability – are inspired to achieve their full potential. You will work positively and collaboratively within the department and contribute to the collective improvement of teaching and learning in this area.
