Contract: Full time (50 weeks per annum with holiday entitlement, 2 weeks closure at Christmas/NY) – 37.5 hours per week (Mon‑Fri 8am‑4pm with 30 min break).
Salary: Band B, points 3‑5 (£24,796‑£25,583), dependent on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Promote learning through play by engaging in conversation with children and setting up activities and resources that aid their development.
- Communicate with parents, updating them on children’s learning via an online parent app and in person at drop‑off and collection times.
- Collaborate with other professionals in the setting and external agencies to provide the best quality of care and identify early intervention opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an NVQ Level 2 Childcare Qualification or equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check required.
