Atherstone and Bedworth Heath Maintained Nursery School Federation Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Educator/Teaching Assistant who will share our vision for providing outstanding teaching and learning opportunities to our nursery community and offering outstanding parent/carer family support. We are able to offer outstanding Early Years CPD, a supportive and experienced staff team and an ethos that values staff wellbeing.

Key Requirements

  • The Early Years Educator/Teaching Assistant position is suited to an experienced educator who wants to continue to develop their skills and make a difference within their school community.
  • If you have a teaching assistant qualification that is not recognised on the Department of Education early years qualification checker, we would be willing to take on a candidate that we could support to complete an early year's level 3 apprentice qualification alongside doing the role.

Relevant Allowances:

  • Working pattern one day at 8.15-16.45 and all other days at 8.15-16.00.
  • The successful candidate will be positioned in the nursery age group that matches their skills and knowledge base.
  • Salary would be Grade D4-5 or on the apprenticeship scale if an apprenticeship is required.
  • There will be study time allocated for anybody that is supported to complete an Early Years Level qualification through an apprenticeship.
  • If you are currently completing a level 3 early years apprenticeship and are looking at transferring role and course this is something we could look at supporting.
