Early Support Delivery Manager

Contract type: Full time, permanent. Salary: £44,075 – £49,282 (Grade 7). Hours: 37. Location: Wolverhampton, City of Wolverhampton Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Early Support teams, ensuring effective service delivery.
  • Promote and embed strengths‑based, person‑centred approaches.
  • Oversee the allocation of people and carer connections to relevant support at the right time.
  • Support staff development through supervision, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate across services and agencies.
  • Contribute to service improvement, quality assurance, and reporting.
  • Deputise for the Team Manager and represent the service in key forums.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in an early support environment, with a proven track record of staff development and operational service delivery.
  • Strong performance management and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge and awareness of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and strengths‑based practice.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and IT skills.
  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant field and evidence of continued professional development.
