St James’s CE Primary School, a vibrant two‑form entry Church of England primary school, is looking for an exceptional School Business Manager to join its Leadership Team from September 16. This strategic leadership role will shape the school’s direction and support outstanding teaching through strong systems and culture.

Safeguarding
St James’s CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All shortlisted candidates will complete a criminal records self‑disclosure form and an enhanced DBS check, online searches and other relevant pre‑employment checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and covers Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016; speaking fluent English is essential. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post.
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time plus 1 week (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Grade 9, SCP 28-31 – £39,152 – £41,771 pro‑rata (actual salary £34,405 – £37,381 per annum)
Location: St James C of E Primary School, Kingsway, Wollaston, Stourbridge, West Midlands, DY8 4RU
