Hours: 37 hours per week, permanent position

Salary: Grade 9 plus tool allowance and 10% shift allowance

An opportunity has arisen within the Fleet service to permanently recruit into the position of Fleet Supervisor. We are looking for a self-motivated person to deliver strong leadership and management on the operational activities of the Fleet service and have the ability to co-ordinate and supervise employees and contractors.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our fleet operations and implementing best practice for cost-effectiveness, sustainability and quality control. The role requires the ability to create a strong positive culture which is focused on business needs, meeting targets, delivering results and ensuring resources are deployed effectively.

Applicants must be able to deliver high quality and on time services for their stakeholders ensuring that our varied fleet of 450+ vehicles operate effectively, whilst ensuring all policies, procedures, Health & Safety legislation, and guidance is followed and implemented.

You will need to have previous experience in fleet management and hold IOSH Managing Safely qualification. The post holder must possess a current full Class C LGV Licence.
