Responsibilities
- Deliver City and Guilds qualifications to learners aged 16 to 19+ across full‑time, part‑time, and apprenticeship programmes.
- Teach and support young people, helping them achieve their potential.
- Manage classroom behaviour with a calm and flexible approach.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and student folders.
- All successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and children and adults barred list checks for employment in a regulated activity.
Qualifications
- Qualifications and experience relevant to the electrical installation industry, including NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical, 18th Edition, and Inspection & Testing.
- Teaching qualification such as PTTLS is desirable; a commitment to obtain one within the first year of employment is essential.
- Experience of teaching and supporting young people.
- Good attention to detail for completion of paperwork and student folders.
