Overview

Connect to Work, part of Pathways to Work, is a voluntary, locally commissioned Supported Employment programme that provides intensive, holistic support for people who are disabled, have long‑term health conditions or complex non‑health related barriers to work.

We seek 2 managers to lead and oversee the local delivery of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) models, ensuring consistent practice, high‑quality employment support and alignment with WMCA commissioning expectations and Dudley’s multi‑year Integrated Settlement delivery plan.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage teams delivering IPS services and SEQF staff, providing line management, reflective supervision and field mentoring to ensure fidelity to practice standards.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of IPS and SEQF models across local sites, including observing and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Travel to various sites within Dudley Borough, meeting stakeholders, Community Employment Specialists and Employment Engagement Teams.
  • Develop and maintain clear role expectations, workforce development plans and quality assurance procedures in line with the delivery plan.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of managing teams delivering an IPS service is essential.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with a proven track record of supervising employment specialists.
  • Experience in field mentoring, observations and ensuring continuous improvement within employment support services.
  • Knowledge of IPS and SEQF frameworks and familiarity with WMCA commissioning expectations.
  • Working Conditions

Workplace attendance: the role requires working in the office at least 3 days a week (pro‑rata) or onsite full‑time. Travel to various sites around Dudley Borough is necessary.
