Vacancy
Lettings Assistant – Casual contract. Start date ASAP. Contract details Grade 4/SCP 5, £13.26 per hour with casual hours. Ellowes Hall Sports College is recruiting for a Lettings Assistant on a casual contract. Hours are not guaranteed, but likely to be worked between 8:00 am – 2:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Flexibility to cover other Lettings staff during absences and holidays will be required.
Operating hours:
- Monday – 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm
- Tuesday – 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm
- Wednesday – 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm
- Thursday – 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm
- Friday – 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm
- Saturday – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Sunday – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Work with the Lettings Officer to manage the day‑to‑day delivery of Facilities Hire and support sports activity programmes.
- Perform general maintenance and care of all equipment and facilities at the School.
Experience and Skills
- Understanding of sports, leisure/recreation and the associated user groups.
- Polite, friendly, professional, respectful, and flexible approach to work.
- Customer‑focused with good communication skills.
- Teamwork, punctuality, excellent attendance, and reliability.
- Enthusiastic about Health & Safety and cleanliness within letting facilities and on the School site.
- Reliable, punctual with excellent attendance.
- Flexible and adaptable in working patterns and job tasks.
- Observes safe working practices.
Additional Experience
Previous experience in a school, education setting, or a similar role would be desirable but not essential.
