The Dormston Centre is a thriving dual‑use facility located within Dormston School. Established in April 2000 with funding from the National Lottery and Sport England, the Centre is a vibrant hub for arts, sports and adult education across North Dudley. It offers a spacious Sports Hall, a floodlit synthetic pitch and a purpose‑built 350‑seat theatre. We are committed to providing the local community with high‑quality, accessible and affordable facilities for events, sport and creative activities.
The Role
Casual Leisure / Bar / Theatre Assistant
We are looking for motivated, adaptable individuals to work in a casual capacity. The role supports operations across our busy leisure centre and popular community theatre, providing excellent customer service and working effectively across different operational areas.
Grade 3 – £13.05 per hour
Shift Adaptability
- Varying patterns: late evening and weekends
- Peak attendance: availability during high‑volume periods such as holiday seasons and major theatre shows.
- Location: The Dormston Centre, Mill Bank, Sedgley, Dudley, DY3 1SN

Requirements
- Medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
- Current or able to obtain a DBS check appropriate for working with children.
