The Role
Do you want to make a difference to the lives of people who live at Howbury? We currently have two part time, permanent Domestic Assistant positions available. All vacancies include alternate weekends and bank holiday working.
Job Title: Domestic Assistant
Location: Howbury House, Malvern
Salary: £13,196 per annum
Hours: 20 Hours per Week
Contract: Permanent

About Us
Howbury House provides long term residential accommodation and support for 32 individuals. We are registered with CQC to provide personal care to people, some of whom may be living with dementia. We are an established team of dedicated staff and are looking for caring people to share our commitment to provide the best care for our residents.
The successful applicant must have the ability to listen and communicate orally and in writing. Be physically able to use cleaning equipment such as hoover, carpet cleaners and industrial laundry facilities. Ability to work as part of a team but also work on own initiative, be caring, compassionate and motivated. An understanding of the rights and needs of older people and the ability to treat people with dignity and respect as individuals. To comply with the Statutory Regulations contained in the Health and Safety at Work Act, ensuring that appropriate levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in the home.

- Great holiday entitlement. As well as bank holidays, you\’ll get 23 days paid holiday (pro rata for part-time staff). This goes up to 28 days when you have been with us for 5 years. If you get more than 25 days where you work now, we\’ll match your holiday up to 30 days.
