Stafford Borough & Cannock Chase District Councils are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced leader to join our established and supportive Democratic and Corporate Shared Services, working across Cannock Chase District and Stafford Borough Councils. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and dedicated team of professionals supporting democratic processes across both councils.
The postholder will provide leadership and support across the corporate support functions, with a particular focus on leading and delivering the efficient running of electoral and democratic decision‑making processes.
About You
- An experienced leader with good working knowledge of the rules relating to statutory electoral and democratic decision‑making procedures
- Confident operating in a public sector or similarly complex environment
- Collaborative, professional and committed to delivering high‑quality corporate services/advice
