We are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join Madeley School.
Role Overview
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes across various subjects when the regular teacher is absent. You will fully set the classes, manage classroom behaviour, keep students on task and assist them with the set activities.

- Supervise varying subject classes during Teacher absence.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure student engagement.
- Support students with set activities and behaviour management.
- Maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
Salary & Working Hours
Salary: G5 SCP 16-20, £25,989 - £27,254 – FTE – Pay Award Pending
Actual Salary: £22,653 - £23,755 – Pay Award Pending
Working hours: 37 per week, Term time only + 5 inset days (39 weeks a year).
Contract: Permanent
Start date: September 2026
