We are looking for an experienced and motivated Leader to support a team in delivering responsive, personalised and outcome‑focused services for people and their carers. The role spans both Learning Disabilities and Mental Health services, with the option to work across disciplines to meet the needs of residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership ensuring high‑quality service delivery that meets national standards and local priorities.
- Oversee performance management, manage delegated budgets, and support effective safeguarding practices.
- Collaborate with partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
- Lead staff management and development, including recruitment, supervision, performance management, and fostering a positive team culture.
- Contribute to service improvement, risk management, and implementation of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams within a health, social care, or support service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver high‑quality services.
- Experience in performance, financial, and operational responsibilities, safeguarding practices, and applying relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Ability to build effective partnerships with internal teams and external organisations.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience handling complex situations including complaints, disciplinary matters, and risk management.
- Commitment to promoting positive outcomes for individuals, carers, and communities.
