Hereward College is looking for 2 Mentors to join the existing team, working on a 1:1 basis and in groups to support the personal development of our students, including building self-awareness, resilience, emotional regulation, behaviour and social interaction skills. The Mentors form part of a Multi-Disciplinary team that assesses need, plans interventions, and evaluates and reviews those interventions, working with students to develop skills essential for their personal and academic progress.

Based in Coventry, we specialise in providing excellent education and support to learners with diverse and complex needs, including Autism. Our staff are committed to enabling learners to reach their potential and fulfil their ambitions.

The successful candidate will be qualified to L3 and have previous experience of working with young people with a range of disabilities and/or learning difficulties. Internal candidates should submit an Expression of Interest, clearly evidencing how they meet the requirements of the role as outlined in the Job Description and Person Specification by the published closing date.

Successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS disclosure and provide referee details. Employment and confirmation of start date will be conditional upon receipt of relevant pre-employment checks.
