About The Role
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Headteacher to lead Whittle Academy and join our dedicated, collaborative team. The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and personal development across the school. They will champion our ethos of care, inclusion and aspiration, creating an environment where every child can thrive and âsoar beyond what they imagine possible.â Working closely with the Executive Headteacher, Trust leaders and the Local Governing Body, the Headteacher will shape the strategic direction of the school and inspire staff to deliver excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading wholeâschool improvement initiatives and driving measurable outcomes.
- Ensuring a curriculum that promotes inclusive education and reflects high attainment standards.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with staff, parents, governors and the wider community.
- Acting as an inspiring role model for pupils and staff, upholding the schoolâs values.
- Managing safeguarding and child protection procedures in line with KCSIE part 1 and local policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record of wholeâschool improvement and successful leadership in a primary setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong expertise in curriculum development and inclusive education.
- Integrity, resilience, emotional intelligence and ability to lead with integrity.
- Experience building positive relationships and working collaboratively with staff, parents, governors and the community.
- Acting as an inspiring role model for pupils and staff.
All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, to provide a safe environment and promote childrenâs welfare, undertake safeguarding and child protection training and familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies as directed by the trust/academy. Candidates will be required to provide photo identification, proof of qualifications and two suitable professional references. The appointment is subject to DBS enhanced clearance.
