Job Summary

We are looking to recruit a Counsellor and Mental Health Lead who will manage the counselling and wellbeing team and support them to provide a comprehensive service. The role aims to enable students and staff to realise their personal and academic potential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on mental health and wellbeing across the college.
  • Oversee the activity of the counselling and wellbeing team to ensure activities and resources support the mental health and wellbeing of students and staff.

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent in Counselling.
  • Holds or is working towards BACP/UKCP accreditation.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing counselling within a supervised framework.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team.
