Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a confident, customer-focused team player to support the Manager with the day-to-day operational management of Public Space CCTV and Concierge services delivered from Sandwell Councils CCTV Control Room.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the performance of Control Room Operators against targets to ensure the effective delivery of the CCTV and Concierge service.
- Operate and monitor current and future Control Room systems, ensuring full compliance with relevant operating procedures, legislation, and codes of practice.
- Liaise with and exchange intelligence with the Police, Environmental Protection Officers, Sandwell Council Officers, and other enforcement agencies; actively promoting effective partnership working to ensure targeted and appropriate system use.
Working pattern and salary
The role operates on a rotational pattern of four early and four late shifts between Monday and Friday, with working hours of 08:00:00 and 13:00:30. This pattern attracts a 10% shift allowance, resulting in a total salary range of approximately £34,000 - £39,000.
