Warwickshire County Council has 2 permanent vacancies for a Contract Management Officer. This is a full-time position, requiring 37 hours per week, with hybrid working options.

About the role:

As a Contract Management Officer, you will play a key role in the management of the Council’s contracts and the development of effective supplier relationships. You will work closely with commissioners and managers to support them in their contract management duties. You will ensure that the corporate Contract Management Framework is applied across all contracts and support the delivery of our new Procurement and Contract Management Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the corporate Contract Management Framework is applied across all contracts.
  • Support the delivery of the Procurement and Contract Management Strategy.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, procurement, legal services, and stakeholders.
  • Develop performance management mechanisms within service specifications and monitor and validate provider performance.
  • Analyze contract performance and supply markets to identify opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and control.
  • Collaborate with commissioners and managers to support contract management duties.
