Solihull Community Housing is looking for a Compliance Contract Coordinator to help maintain safe, compliant homes and protect residents. The role involves coordinating fire safety inspections, servicing, repairs and remedial works for the Housing portfolio.

The Compliance Contract Coordinator will work with contractors, residents and internal teams to plan and complete fire safety activities, maintain accurate records, monitor performance and produce reports.

  • Fire Risk Assessment actions
  • Fire door inspection and replacement programmes
  • Emergency lighting inspections
  • Fire alarm servicing
  • Dry risers and wet risers
  • Smoke control systems
  • Fire signage and associated fire safety works

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinate planned fire safety inspections and remedial works.
  • Schedule contractors and manage appointments.
  • Liaise with residents to arrange access.
  • Raise works orders and monitor progress to completion.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and evidence.
  • Monitor contractor performance and support KPI reporting.
  • Produce reports and management information.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve enquiries promptly.

About You:

You’ll be organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll have:

  • Strong administrative and coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel and database systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with contractors and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications:

Experience within fire safety, compliance, housing, construction or property maintenance would be an advantage but is not essential.
