Salary: £34,434 to £36,363 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Term: Temporary for up to 3 years.
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive, resilient and community‑focused individual to join the Regeneration and Communities Division as a Community Support Officer. This role involves working directly with residents, businesses, schools, partners and councillors to tackle anti‑social behaviour and improve local quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Address anti‑social behaviour, dog fouling, littering, nuisance behaviour, minor vandalism, inappropriate parking and community reassurance and prevention initiatives.
- Investigate complaints, gather evidence and support enforcement action where appropriate.
- Educate, support and take action to create positive behaviour change and safer neighbourhoods.
- Provide flexible support, including evenings and weekends as required.
Qualifications and Skills
We are seeking someone who is confident, approachable and motivated to make a real difference. The successful candidate will be flexible, friendly and able to work independently on the ground in the borough.
