Are you passionate about supporting a deaf child with their learning and communication needs? Are you BSL Level 2 qualified with a competent level of fluency? Halesbury School is looking to appoint a Communication Support Worker (Hearing Impairment) with BSL or Signature Level 2 in BSL.
Requirements:
- Have completed BSL or Signature Level 2 in BSL
- Have experience working with children with SEN in a specialist educational setting and the ability to support pupils during emotional and behavioural crises
- Ability to implement Autism-friendly practices to support the young person within a class
