Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council,
Tividale Community Primary School wishes to appoint a cleaner to start on 1st September 2025. The contract is Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 6pm (12.5 hours per week). The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within the school.
Duties will include vacuuming, polishing, clearing litter, deep cleaning and using powered equipment such as vacuums, shampoo and buffing machines. It is desirable for the applicant to have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals and electrical equipment. Please refer to the job description and person specification for full details of the post.
Please note that this is an all year round post (not term time only) and the postholder will be required to work during some of the school holiday periods. The working hours will change during deep clean periods to mornings so flexibility is required.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
