About the Trust:

Invictus Education Trust is a multi Academy Trust in Dudley, West Midlands, with six secondary schools and one primary school, employing over 750 staff and educating more than 5,500 students.

Role Overview:

The cleaners are responsible for keeping the school clean to the required standard/specifications daily, working safely using correct warning signs, protective clothing and safety equipment, and being mindful of hazards to staff and students. They must comply with the Trust/School's Health and Safety practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily cleaning duties across the school premises to the required standard
  • Use appropriate safety equipment and follow safe working practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in classrooms, staff rooms, toilets, etc.
  • Report any hazards, maintenance issues or incidents to the relevant staff

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
  • Reliable, punctual with excellent attendance record
  • Flexible and adaptable to working patterns and task changes
  • Team player, personable and emotionally intelligent
  • Previous experience in a school or education setting is desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List verification required
