Manor Abbey School will provide education for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils with an EHCP for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviours. The school opened in Abbey Hulton, Stoke on Trent in September 2024, initially admitting up to 30 pupils across Year 7 and 8, with plans to fill to a capacity of 70 over four years.

We are seeking a cleaner to support the school by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the buildings to the required standards. The successful candidate will:

  • Show compassion, understanding, and a strong desire to provide excellent learning environments for students.
  • Have experience in cleaning duties and knowledge of best practices.
  • Be able to work independently without supervision and understand the importance of quality service.
  • Possess awareness of COSHH regulations (training will be provided if needed).
  • Understand the importance of hygiene in the workplace.
  • Be capable of using specialist equipment and resources.

Note: The role includes cleaning during school holidays when the school is shut.
