We are seeking to appoint a full-time Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave for the Autumn Term 2026. This is a fixed-term position, expected to run for one term, subject to the return of the substantive post holder. Greswold Primary School is a large, ethnically diverse school located close to the centre of Solihull. We are proud of our inclusive ethos, where every child and every member of staff is valued, supported and encouraged to thrive.

Our vision is simple but powerful: to create a learning community where every child really does matter. Our BRICKS values — Belonging, Respect, Independence, Curiosity, Kindness and Success — underpin all aspects of school life and shape our curriculum, relationships and decision‑making. Inclusion and wellbeing are at the heart of these values and inform how we support children with diverse needs and how we work together as a school community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and reflective teacher to join a welcoming and collaborative school for a fixed period. We are looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about inclusive practice, and who can make a positive contribution to pupils’ academic, emotional and social development during the maternity cover period.
