Five Ways Primary School is seeking a KS1 Class Teacher on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave, working 4 days per week (to be negotiated upon appointment). The start date is 1st September 2026 until 31st May 2027, with the possibility of an extension until 31st August 2027.
We are looking to recruit a nurturing, enthusiastic and committed class teacher to join our friendly, dedicated and supportive Key Stage 1 team. Responsibilities include:
- Having high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
- Working well as part of a collaborative team, as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently
- Enthusing and engaging pupils in purposeful learning experiences
- Being passionate about children’s learning and welfare, enabling all children to achieve success
- Having a clear understanding of the primary curriculum
