Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a teacher to join a KS2 class for September 2026. This post is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Have good subject knowledge in English and Maths and be ready to bring your interests and enthusiasm about other aspects of the curriculum.
  • Demonstrate ambition and hard work to develop professionally through sharing practice, listening and being reflective.
  • Have a good understanding of how to adapt planned learning to effectively support pupil progress.
  • Have a commitment to working as part of a team and sharing good practice.
  • Have a positive outlook, energy and good communication skills.
  • Be committed to establishing a positive school experience; promoting high standards and providing effective purposeful feedback to learners.

Qualifications

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and experience appropriate to KS2 and the ability to work effectively with a Church of England school community.
