We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced LSP3 to join our team. We are looking for someone who genuinely shares our passion for inclusion and a commitment to our values of “belong, nurture, thrive, discover and grow.” As an LSP3 you will support children’s learning and development, working closely with teachers and colleagues to provide tailored support to all learners, including those with additional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality phonics and literacy support (including interventions where needed, using Little Wandle).
  • Support learning and achievement for vulnerable groups in Key Stage 2.
  • Provide targeted interventions and in‑class support across a range of subjects.
  • Promote independence, confidence and engagement in learning.

Qualifications

  • Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven paid experience working within a primary school as part of a Learning Support team.
  • Experience delivering high‑quality phonics and/or literacy interventions.
  • Strong understanding of effective support within a Key Stage 2 environment.

Desirable Skills and Training

  • Forest School Leader qualification (advantageous).
  • First Aid training.
  • Little Wandle phonics training.
  • Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Experience working in urban settings such as Sandwell.

Working Pattern

  • Hours: 8:45 am – 3:45 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Contract: Permanent.
  • Start date: September 2026.
  • Hours per week: 32.5 (standard term time + 2 days).

Salary and Level

Band D, SCP 9‑17: £27,254‑£31,022 pro‑rata (actual £21,085‑£24,104 per annum).
