Position Overview
Grade Apprentice Level 2: £25,948.96 per annum (pay award pending)
Fixed Term: up to 36 months from appointment – 37 Hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a range of housing/property maintenance skills in Council properties, specialising in carpentry and incorporating a range of additional skills
- Work as part of a team and demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to customer care
- Enjoy outdoor work and hold a full clean driving licence, or achieve one within two years if not currently held
Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge of and interest in building construction and maintenance
- Relevant vocational experience in the carpentry trade (ideal)
- GCSEs in Mathematics and English Language at Grade 4 or above, or equivalent academic experience
- Full clean driving licence, or ability to achieve within two years of appointment
