Transform our property assets and make a difference. The Council has a wide range of Corporate Assets which are key to the delivery of the Council’s services and the delivery of our wider ambitions to promote Economic Prosperity, Housing Development and support the delivery of high-profile regeneration projects in the Town Centre. The Council is keen to develop new ways of working to maximise the efficiency and performance of our land and property assets to enable the effective delivery of our front-line services.
As such we are looking for a highly motivated, resilient Corporate Assets Estates Lead who will play a key role in our small team to shape our delivery of strategic estate management functions. The successful candidate will have:
- Strong expertise in strategic asset and estate management.
- Proven experience in capital asset valuation management and regulatory compliance.
- Effective negotiation and leadership skills to drive property transactions.
- Strong analytical abilities to oversee asset data and inform key decisions.
- A Degree in Estate Management or a similar relevant discipline (or working towards). Alternatively, have extensive relevant demonstrable experience and be willing to work towards qualification within a 2-year period of commencement of the role.
