Responsibilities
- Organising and providing effective school administration for the school.
- Personnel Administration including safer recruitment, payroll and the maintenance of personnel records.
- Inputting and retrieving information on financial packages, raising invoices and completing bank reconciliation.
- Contributing to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths, grade A‑C.
- Knowledge of specialist ICT packages, e.g. finance and MIS systems.
- Experience of office administration.
- Good communication skills, oral and written.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Valuing and respecting the views and needs of children.
- Displaying commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
Security and Background Checks
As this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check with a Barred List check. The pre‑employment process will also include Teacher Prohibition List checks, overseas checks (where applicable), proof of qualifications (as specified in the person specification), section 128 checks (for those in management roles), medical fitness checks, and identity and right to work checks.
