About the Team
Within this role, you will be supporting Social Care staff within Children & Families Team 3. We work with colleagues and multi-agency professionals at all levels across the service to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families, working together across Warwickshire. Warwickshire put children at the heart of everything we do. We work with children and families restoratively, building strong relationships and connections to help families fine long last solutions.
About the Role
We are recruiting for the role of a Business Support Officer covering Nuneaton, Bedworth & North Warwickshire Family Help on a full time (37 hrs per week) permanent basis.
The Family Help team are based at Hilary Road Nuneaton CV10 9AD as well as The Arden Centre 120 Long Street Atherstone CV9 1AF
Business Support contributes to the efficient running of the team and the achievement of the County Council vision to make Warwickshire the best it can be, sustainable now and for future generations.
You will work in a team to provide effective, flexible and responsive Business Support to one of the Council’s Services, with the ability to support other teams as and when required. It is a fast paced, energetic and exciting area to work in, where you will be part of a close team.
You will work proactively, looking for new ways of working, contributing to the outcomes of the services that you are supporting as well as the outcomes of the Business Support Service.
We are looking for someone who has good organisational skills, is able to problem solve and use their own initiative, a great attention to detail with excellent communication skills.

Key Requirements
Working hours – 37 hrs per week, with agile and flexible working options generally worked from 9am till 5.30 pm Monday – Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays. Office working 60% of working week.
As part of this role you would be required to undertake general administration duties, data analysis & manipulation, responding to queries, assisting & supporting frontline services.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, and to manage changes at short notice.
- Good IT skills with a knowledge of systems for data management.
- Experience of minute taking desirable.
- Reception experience would be beneficial to this role
