Interim Business Development Director (12 Months)

We are seeking an Interim Business Development Director (12 Months) to lead the strategic growth of our commissioned services across health, criminal justice, and social care. This role is crucial in shaping our future, building strong partnerships, and ensuring that our services reach those who need them most.

You will

  • Lead and manage bids for NHS, ICBs, Local Authorities, and other commissioners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across clinical, operational, and financial teams to develop high-quality, evidence-based proposals.
  • Shape creative service solutions that balance innovation, sustainability, and impact.
  • Represent Gordon Moody externally, building trusted relationships and enhancing our reputation as the UK’s leading gambling harm charity.

We’re looking for someone with

  • A proven track record of leading and winning high-value public sector bids (£500k+). Strong knowledge of NHS and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial acumen and confidence in assessing risk and financial models.
