Ridgeway Primary Academy (part of Primitas Learning Partnership) is seeking to appoint an experienced & enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support teaching & learning within our school. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the class teacher usually in the classroom with the teacher. Ridgeway Primary Academy has an excellent reputation and provides a lively and creative environment in which to work. We retained ‘Good’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection in December 2024 and we are a founding member of Primitas Learning Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust which seeks to make a positive difference in the local community.
Position details
- Salary: Grade 4, SCP 5 (£25,583 – £25,989) Actual salary £18,220 – £18,510 approx. depending on years of service
- Contract: Permanent
- Working hours: Term Time only (38 pupil weeks). Additional time may be required on INSET days for training which will receive an additional payment
- Typical hours: Monday to Friday 8.45am – 12.15pm and 1.30pm – 3.30pm (27.5 hrs per week)
