Meadows First School, Bromsgrove is seeking to appoint a passionate, skilled and motivated Nursery Teacher and EYFS Leader to join our dedicated and supportive team.
Salary: Main Pay Range / Upper Pay Range (with TLR), dependent on experience
Hours: Full Time
Contract type: Permanent from September 2026
Reporting to: Headteacher
Responsible for: Nursery provision and contributes to leadership across the wider EYFS, including Reception
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Early Years practitioner to combine high-quality classroom practice with EYFS leadership responsibility. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the day-to-day management, organisation and development of our Nursery provision, while contributing strategically to the wider EYFS phase across the school. The Nursery at Meadows offers outstanding nursery care to children aged 3 – 4 with a desire to empower the children and to ignite enthusiasm and excitement in our children's early experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational teaching rooted in a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS statutory framework
- Lead and support EYFS staff to secure consistently high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
- Shape the vision, curriculum and learning environment across the EYFS, ensuring it is inclusive, ambitious and play-based
- Build strong partnerships with families and external professionals to support all children, including those with SEND
