Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Salary: Β£8,637 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM β 1:30 PM
Location: Millfields First School, Bromsgrove
Millfields First School is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support the lunchtime service in our school kitchen. This temporary role involves cleaning food dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and assisting with end-of-service clean-downs. You will be part of a small, friendly team serving children aged 2 to 9 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and clean food dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with cleaning the kitchen and food preparation areas after service.
- Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
- Support the Cook and other Kitchen Assistants as needed.
- Ensure compliance with allergy and food safety guidance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
- Good awareness of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Friendly and cooperative attitude.
- Willingness to undergo training if required.

- This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
