Location: Bromsgrove and Redditch Councils, North Worcestershire
Salary: £32,061 to £35,412 (Grade 6, SCP 19 to 24). 37 hours per week, 4 or 5 day working patterns, with special arrangements for Bank Holidays and Christmas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning of work
- Monitor health and safety compliance
- Manage issues within the team
- Conduct site checks for safety
- Inspect reported issues
- Interact with the public and address day-to-day operational needs of the team
- Support team coordinators and monitor quality standards across the district
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential skills: UK driving licence with Category C entitlement
- At least 3 years experience within at least one of the following fields – cleansing, groundwork, horticulture, forestry or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time-keeping
- Ability to interpret written and drawn instructions in paper and digital form
- Experience of managing staff and ensuring compliance at work will be beneficial
