Location: Bromsgrove and Redditch Councils, North Worcestershire

Salary: £32,061 to £35,412 (Grade 6, SCP 19 to 24). 37 hours per week, 4 or 5 day working patterns, with special arrangements for Bank Holidays and Christmas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning of work
  • Monitor health and safety compliance
  • Manage issues within the team
  • Conduct site checks for safety
  • Inspect reported issues
  • Interact with the public and address day-to-day operational needs of the team
  • Support team coordinators and monitor quality standards across the district

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential skills: UK driving licence with Category C entitlement
  • At least 3 years experience within at least one of the following fields – cleansing, groundwork, horticulture, forestry or similar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time-keeping
  • Ability to interpret written and drawn instructions in paper and digital form
  • Experience of managing staff and ensuring compliance at work will be beneficial
