Chadsgrove Educational Trust Specialist College provides bespoke personalised educational packages tailored to the individual needs of students aged 19-25 with physical disabilities and/or complex medical needs. The aim is to enable students to develop educationally and enjoy a fulfilled life, maximising personal achievement while being challenged to reach full potential. The mission is to create a place where students thrive, enhancing physical and emotional health in a safe, happy, and confident learning environment; fostering life skills, communication and independence to enable active voices and greater independence in adulthood.
Responsibilities
- Teach as an outstanding Tutor with experience of teaching young adults with special educational needs.
- Prepare and deliver exciting and engaging activities, both classroom and community based across the Worcestershire area.
- Work effectively with Learning Support Assistants and the wider College team.
- Demonstrate the ability to plan and deliver personalised, ambitious and motivating lessons that foster independence for adulthood.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students.
- A deep understanding of specialist education and student needs.
- High levels of student progress and achievement outcomes.
- Strong communication skills.
