Help Shape the Future of One of Kidderminster's Best-Loved Parks .
This role is part of a programme funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund to transform Brinton Park into a vibrant, welcoming and sustainable destination for local people and visitors.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Engagement Officer who will work with local communities, partners, volunteers and contractors to deliver a programme of activities that encourages people of all ages to get involved with the park.
Responsibilities
- Develop volunteering opportunities that make a real difference.
- Organise and promote events and community activities.
- Organise and help to deliver educational, heritage, conservation and recreational activities.
- Encourage more people to discover and enjoy Brinton Park.
- Monitor and evaluate the project's impact as part of the grant funding commitments.
Requirements & Working Conditions
- Interview dates: 4 & 5 August 2026.
- Part-time, job share and secondments will be considered.
- Flexible working, including occasional evening meetings and weekend work to support events.
- Suitable vehicle required for the post.
- Fixed term until 31 December 2027.
