The Black Country Federation is seeking a Business Manager to join our ambitious and improving partnership of schools.

About The Federation

Brockmoor Primary School and Brierley Hill Primary School work in close partnership as part of the Black Country Federation, sharing a strong commitment to delivering an ambitious curriculum and securing the very best outcomes for every pupil.

About The Role

This is a senior post within the school which carries with it membership of the Senior Leadership Team. The post holder is line managed and is accountable to the Headteacher and Governing Body.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the school’s financial management, including budgeting, monitoring and reporting
  • Manage HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding and staff records
  • Oversee administrative systems and ensure efficient daily operations
  • Coordinate premises management, health and safety, and statutory compliance
  • Manage contracts and service providers, ensuring value for money
  • Support strategic planning and contribute to school improvement priorities
  • Ensure policies and procedures are up to date and implemented effectively
