We are looking for a qualified social worker with significant experience to act as an expert in child protection within Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. The role involves supporting families, providing expert advice, and working across multi‑agency partnerships to protect vulnerable children.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and consultation to practitioners and multi‑agency partners.
- Support families when significant harm has been identified.
- Participate in Strategy Meetings and oversee Section 47 enquiries.
- Manage children on child‑protection plans and those in pre‑proceedings.
- Encourage family group decision making and challenge practices across the multi‑agency group.
Qualifications
- Qualified social worker with significant experience and expertise in child protection.
