Overview
COVER SUPERVISOR — FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL 31 AUGUST 2027
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to appoint a COVER SUPERVISOR on a fixed term contract (31 hours per week, term time only, 39 weeks per year).
Salary: Grade 5, Point 7-11. Actual term time salary £19,095.71 – £20,813.75 per annum.
This is a Grade 5 position. Applicants will need to be qualified to NVQ 3 or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide support across the school and assist teaching staff in the development and education of pupils.
- Contribute specialist skills as appropriate to pupil learning and welfare.
Hours, duties and fixing
Hours are 8.15am – 3.15pm each day (1 hour unpaid break) plus a 1 hour professional development meeting each week. Hours may be changed to meet the needs of the school.
Requirements and safeguarding
All appointments are subject to satisfactory references and clearances, including an enhanced DBS check and medical clearance where applicable. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, online checks will be carried out. All applicants must provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK. Dudley MBC does not currently offer sponsorship for candidates without the Right to Work in the UK.
