Barford Primary School is seeking an exceptional Year 1 Class Teacher to join our ambitious staff team. You’ll be leading a delightful Year 1 class at a crucial stage in their learning journey. This role is perfect for someone with experience in KS1 who has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and a flair for creating engaging, memorable lessons.
Responsibilities
- Lead a Year 1 class with a focus on creating engaging and memorable lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Deliver high quality phonics lessons and promote curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and reflect on teaching practice; contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress and development.
- Take part in school life and contribute to a supportive, positive learning environment.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience teaching KS1 and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
